Anyone have a clue, as to how much a converted Saiga 12 should go for? It's got a lot of extras, and reliably shoots low brass bird shot. I'm not looking to rip anyone off. Gunbroker's prices are all over the place. Brad has shot it, and it was gtg for him. I have absolutely no use for this thing. I would consider pistol trades. I was thinking $1000. Too little? Too much? I have duracoated it. Just gauging interest and garnering opinions right now.:smoke:

I may list it here later, but, asking opinions first. Is it worth trying?

OP 1000 is a firm price IMO i personally wouldn't take a penny less

Well, if anyone knows how good this one is, it's you, my brother.:D

    It's definitely a fun shooter.

My neighbors remember me running 2 mags of bird and slug thru it at the house as fast as I could regain a sight picture - ran like a champ.

If no one makes a solid offer, give me a shout - might be able to arrange something.

Assuming you did the conversion as you didn't mention a company or gunsmith. Is this correct? I'm not in the market-I have too many S12s already. I just didn't want you leaving out good info that may lead someone into purchasing it.
I did it myself. It was very easy, and is a pretty damn good job, if you ask me. (And Brad:D)

Been a while since I looked at Saiga 12 prices. I traded a Masterpiece Arms MAC11 clone for mine. :D I think I got the better end of that deal.

I just dug the box out of storage. I forgot that I kept every piece of literature and all of the original parts. This coupled with about 200 rounds of 12 gauge ammo makes for a very good deal for my boy. I couldn't think of a better home for it.

I'd say both parties came away a winner.

The nice thing, is that it's still local - and if you ever get the hankering to get it back, it won't be a issue. ;)

(Although it may be a few inches shorter, if someone has their way...)

Dialed in the gas while testing today.

This thing is a pussycat. 2 3/4" slugs felt like low brass.

$1400-1500 is going price around here for a well running converted S-12? Just sold mine for $1400 with a drum and 2 stick mags.
