Sig had their P220 Elite in 10mm on display at Shot Show. Now I need to get one...

I have been patiently waiting for SIG to shut the eff up and take my money since they announced this a few months back. This pistol is finally incentive enough for me to get my HQL.

Is it just me or does it seem like more and more 10mm pistols are being made?

Love my P220 SAO, has everything I like in 1911s, without most of the stuff I don't. The 10mm versions are on a tougher stainless steel frame, and aren't really priced much over their 45 counterparts, and being Sig's street price tends to be further below MSRP than other brands it looks promising. Should be a nice pistol, will remain to be seen how tough mags are to find, and if there are 9x25 and 40S&W barrels around for it. Love that 10mm is making a decent comeback, it is a worthy cartridge, can do everything 40 and 45 can do and then some.

crap, now I have to work in another purchase, just figured out how to swing a S&W 310 to go with my G20. Hopefully the renewed interest in 10mm will continue

In Miami Vice, Crockett used a Sig P220 in the pilot episode. Then he used a Bren 10mm. Now we have a Sig 10mm. Does this mean the return Miami Vice?

I've been wanting a 310 for years. When I found one, I didn't have the money. When I had the money, I couldn't find one.
