Interesting ... based on your previous post ... I thought you meant this one ...

which, if you expand the image, appears to be a dead ringer for the Mueller. However comments from owners of both the A1 and Mueller on other websites indicate they are not the same.

Of this type of open reflex design, I had also looked at the Burris Fastfire in the past, but just didn't have the reason/platform to get it (and already had an EOTech, functioning back then, and a Bushnell TRS-25). However the Mueller price is attractive enough that I might bite.

In addition to uses mentioned earlier, had been thinking about doing an Appleseed with my 12-yr old using this rifle and the 10/22, so maybe the open design would work well in this context (especially with the circle around the dot sight configuration - similar to the EOTech but missing on the Bushnell).

Yeah the two are definitely not the same and the Mueller has more features. Get the Mueller, I know you will like it.

Like my other long guns, an Eotech EXPS sight.

2.0 on my 15-22 3.0 on my others. My others have G33 magnifiers as well. Not on the 22 however.

I use this primarily as a back yard plinker. I have made head shots on ground hogs at 60 yards with it. I love when one of them pokes his head out in the yard. I rarely shoot longer distances than 60 yards with this.

I had a Sightmark ultrashot on the HK 416-22 for 3 years. Then my future son in law got me a 2.5-10x Chinese thing for Christmas. It's very nasty and I really like the glass! Has a clamp and came with a reflex that I have not attach to the top yet. This will stay on it awhile.

The first optic I had on my Beretta ARX160 was the TRS-25. It worked fine, but I thought it was very low to the bore. Over the Thanksgiving break, I was up in New England and visited the Kittery Trading Post. They had a sale on the TruGlo "Gobblestopper" 30mm red-dot. With that sight, the dot appears at the right height for a good cheekweld.

PFI SOPS on my 22lr AR-15 SBR. Military-grade Japanese-made reflex tube sight, but not made anymore.

If I ever get a 22lr bolt gun, I'll probably mount up the new PA 6x 22lr ACSS.

On my 15-22, I have a Millett DMR 1-4X in a Burris PEPR mount.

Similar to the setup on one of my ARs (Burris MTAC 1-4x).

You use a $1200 scope on a $500 rifle! I am looking at scopes for my next 5.56 AR build and my budget is $500. (About 1/3 of my budget for the whole gun)

Check this scope out, it's seriously nice for the money...

For under $500, I challenge you to find a better scope. It's not as good as my Horus HDMR (which I paid $875 as part of a 50% off LEO/MIL special) but it's pretty darn close.

    Thank you sir.
That is $100 less than it was 6mos ago. I was looking at that for my M1A

I'm looking for a 1x4 or 1x6 for my next AR. I was looking at the Leupold 1.5-4x20 I found it for $300. With firedot for $420.
