For all of you have, like me, maxed out your safe space, Dick's is offering a "door buster" sale on Field & Stream 24 gun safes (manual combo lock) for $399, which is a special sale today only before 2 pm from $499 and almost $200 less than I paid for this exact safe 18 months ago. Standard shipping is something like $186 (after $50 shipping discount) and and room of choice of shipping is $402. I believe that orders must be placed by 2 pm.

I have this safe and paid the extra last time to have 3 huge men haul my safe up 3 flights of stairs, and let me tell you that the room of choice shipping (was $350 then) was the best money I ever spent.

Price was actually higher 2 years ago when I got mine.
I'm not disappointed at all. Glass is clear. Scope mount is solid.
Bore measures a 1 on my 308 Muzzle guage which is astonishing I think.
Bore is also very good for a Mosin.
I did some accurizing and it shoots 1MOA with my reloads. And I did not have to bubba it to get the scope onto it in order to shoot that. For those who want a scoped Milsurp C&R due to your eyes, there are not many options. I will say my 1903A3 shoots about as well and its iron sights but if I don't have good light, I physically can't do it.

I'm a bit concerned because when I ordered it, for some reason their website wouldn't upload my C&R License. The order went through anyway though. I immediately sent their customer service an email letting them know the issue and attached my C&R to it. Hopefully everything works out.

Yea, $550 is a chunk of change. When you think about it though, it's a decent price for an actual sniper rifle used in World War 2. I see the prices going up even higher since the Russian import ban/sanctions.

Is that the M48 that's all milled? I've been wanting one of those but that price drop is not enough to get me to buy one unless it ships for free, too.

Last year at this time from SOG I got a P83 for $200 (not C&R), but this year they're only dropping it to $220.
