Did this last month and had a nice time. Good people, low key, safe handling, etc. Hope to make it again on the 3rd.

Why can't these be held on Sunday's??? Us gun dealers/shooters have to be in our shops workin' on Saturdays.

Darn tootin, I mean shootin, lol. Some of us have a bunch of kids that do multiple sports on Saturdays too. :lol2:

This is a fun event. One suggestion for Stemmers: During the April shoot, I helped a little with setup. I noticed that you have a fourth set of centerfire targets in your storage shed. Why not set up all 4 sets so you can run 5-person relays (4 centerfire and 1 rimfire). That way you can move through the roster a little more quickly.

Lou - if you can't make this one check out the "Sunday" steel shoot at Delta Peach Bottom. Not to high jack Stemmers thread, because I will be going to their event again on the 3rd, but Delta does one on Sundays. Starts at 9:00. Its a bit farther, but also open to the public, higher round count, and same low key, friendly, safe atmosphere as Stemmers. I did it last month - it was good. This months is this weekend on the 27th. I think ProtégéV was in this month if he can get permission from the kids :lol2: Again, I had fun at the Stemmers event and will go again, but if you can only do Sunday Delta Peach Bottom would be an option.

This Sunday I'll be working at Mayberry trying to get the range in shape for the season and all my Sundays are booked up throughout May for whatever other reason(s). I should start to see a reprieve in Sunday schedules starting early to mid June.

Sorry I had no input on the dates for the shoots. I just try and help promote the shoots. Wish I could you give you an better answer.

I will pass this to Steve who runs the shoots.

If memory serves, they did bust out the 4th set when one of the pins broke off the stand towards they end of the day.

    Real Pins Or Steel?

Looking forward to doing this again. Do you have any ETA on when real bowling pins will be used for the matches? Or, will it be steel pins again? Doesn't really matter to me. Both are just as fun to shoot. See you again Saturday! :D
