Which model Glock do you have? Glock makes factory threaded barrels for the G17, G19, and G21. My opinion, stay with a factory threaded barrel when you have the option to do so. I have one for my G19 and its been great since day one. I also had one for my G17 before I sold it.

Also, between Storm Lake and LoneWolf. I'd choose Storm Lake every time. Not a fan of LoneWolf personally. But that's just my opinion.

I have a threaded Jarvis barrel for my G17. Dropped right in and no issues.

I have debated getting one just so I can shoot lead. I knkw some say you can others say you can't I havent tried yet but I'd like tl be able to run lead from my 17.

While I am not a big fan of aftermarket parts, I had a G23 with a Jarvis and G19 with a Bar-Sto. Both worked flawlessly although I probably would not personally buy a Jarvis again after more than a few stories regarding their customer service and seeing how customers were not treated very well.

I would go with the Storm Lake. I have one for my Glock 35 and it is a great barrel.

Also have a KKM for the Glock 23, it's also a very nice barrel.

I shot a TON of lead through my Glock 17 barrel and never had an issue with it. But, I kept it clean and the loads were all moderate pressure.

Have a lone wolf barrel on a 17 that shoots well enough to hit a running ground hog at the 50 ft more/less distance. Installation was easy enough. This was a few years ago, maybe wolf quality has gone down of late.?

I have noticed some on line complaints about LW barrels, but not enough from what I see to say LW quality has gone down. I'm not paying extra money to remove the stupid cartoon from the barrel hood.

But I don't like Punisher end plates either.

    :D

Factory Glock can NOT be beat from a reliability standpoint.

Storm Lake Nitrided Barrels are my next choice.

KKM an Jarvis are nice but you will not get factory reliability with a broad range of ammo with them. They are geared towards accuracy as their primary purpose.

    Lone Wolf is awful IMO.

Can you elaborate a little on your opinion of LW barrels? I always thought the LW barrels were pretty decent - accuracy and function wise

I've used LW barrels for multi-caliber conversions on the g20/21 and a g35 with no problems at all

Just wanted to know why you thought these barrels were "aweful"?

    Thanks

I have a KKM .40 S&W conversion barrel that I run in a Glock 20. It drops in with no mods and use the stock 10mm mags. I’ve run more than several thousand rounds through it without any problems. I shot it for several years in IDPA. I’d highly recommend a KKM barrel.

Soft Steel, Bad Tolerances, and Rough Machining.

The 40-9 conversion barrels which are an awful idea, but others besides LW do them.
