Trying to order two Vepr rifles-payment went through. They called back and said the owner will not send any semi auto anything either rifle or pistol to MD. And my order was canceled!

Just a heads up if you plan on buying anything from them.

Makes me feel better about overpaying for my VEPR 54r. Good luck getting 'em now before 10/1...

Get used to this. Cautious online vendors will begin stopping sales to MD of soon-to-be-banned rifles in August and September on the chance that a delay in processing or shipping could cause the rifle to be delivered after Oct. 1. Don't wait until the last minute to buy what you need.

F'them... they sell a lot of imported junk anyway.

Take a look at their optics section, it's like a celebration of Chinese made crap.

Why would anyone expect an out of state FFL to understand MD firearm laws? Heck, even our own FFLs, gun owners, AG, legislative bodies, and MSP don't understand them, or at the very least can't agree what many of them mean. I can certainly understand reticence to mess with MD laws with the mess they are. My fear regarding out of state sales of any firearm related stuff is that this is just one of the first dominos falling. :sad20:

It works both ways. To me it would be too confusing on what they would sell to Maryland so I would just not buy anything that they sell.

It's our state, it's our laws, it's our fault.

Has anyone personally spoke with the owner and sent them the law and given them a bulletized summary? That may be a good start instead of your bitching. Good public relations goes a long way. They are not our enemies, the MD politicians, the sheep population and most importantly the GUN community the puts up with the stupidity of the laws and accepts them is the problem. The gun community that contunues to fight with everything they have and get information out is the solution.

Maybe as a community we can put together a summary for the distributors that easily expalins the new law to them to HELP them understand instead of just demonizing them and expecting them to know the laws of all 50 states.
