I agree with the guy above. You will eventually want to upgrade the charging handle so you misewell go with a BCM or a Raptor. I like the BCM Mod 4's and they really aren't that much more than a stock charging handle. It's just a better made part.

Nothing wrong with a basic charging handle however, you'll eventually upgrade it so if you can, get a BCM Gunfighter or a Rainier Arms Raptor now and be done with it. :D

They do offer a Gunfighter in an ambi configuration too.

It's nice. Got one on the the 16" 300BLK.

I only run BCM CHs. Everything else feels (AND IS) like flimsy weak sauce compared to anything else. I have not handled the Rainier Arms one but hear it's legit.

I will say the best CH I have used is the raptor. It is also a $85-90 CH if you are lefty or care about ambi controls its for you. The best CH hands down bang for the buck is the BCM.

The raptor must be handled to be appreciated. The quality, build and ease of use are remarkable.

If I left handed, I would definitely try the raptor. Being that I'm not, I'd rather not spend $80 on something not likely to bring anything else to the table. They look cool though.

    1) Raptor (Dosent cast off Blowback as well as a Gunfighter or GasBuster but has the smoothest operation)

    2) Gunfighter (Dosent cast off Blowback as well as a Gasbuster, great compromise for #1 and #3)

    3) Gas Buster (Dosent have the smoothest operation, but eliminates Blowback Gas)

I actually have that exact charging handle and I regret it. It's not something to skimp on, especially when BCM's are only an extra $25. Seeing as that you're buying from PSA, you're probably building a $1000 rifle, give or take; what's an extra $20 to fix a weak point in the gun's design? I know, you can say that again and again and wind up with a really expensive rifle, but the charging handle is one of the parts that really defines the sturdiness of the gun. I wish I had spent the extra money. Personally, instead of spending $45 to get a nice charging handle I get to spend $45 to get a nice charging handle and $20 to get a charging handle to throw in a cardboard box forever. It does its job, but it's a weak point on my rifle.

It's only $20 for a pretty substantial upgrade. Mise well go for the BCM.
