On April 25th they were on 2/19 for reviews. Now, some 14 days later, they are only on 2/25 for reviews. At that rate, if you submit today and go to review, you won't get your gun until October 27th.

I got my reviewed 2/25 on 4/30 so that doesnt sound right.

Two people on the previous page of this thread stated that the MSP informed them today that they are only at 2/25. Another person had a 2/25 app come back two days ago. This is the MSP we're talking about, so it wouldn't surprise me if they made next to no progress the last 10 days.

I was able to pick up my Stag AR on 4/26 after submitting the paperwork on 2/28. My FFL does everything snail mail so I had to wait an extra 10-12 days after I was not-denied.

I WOULD NOT be using an FFL that:

    Doesn't have a fax machine.
Didn't fax my app the same day I filled it out.
Doesn't offer to call me when my app comes back.
Expects you to pay in full when you fill out your app.
Charges me anything more to store my gun while I'm waiting.

    Anything else I'm forgetting?

    I wouldn't either if he wasn't a friend.

I'd be telling my friend he needs to bring his business into the 80's. He probably doesn't have a computer or any computer knowledge either. Forget that. Friend or no friend, I want my stuff NOW, not 12 days later on an already ridiculous 3 month wait.

I'm not bashing, that's just my personal opinion. Not trying to give you a hard time or anything.

It looks like they are taking up to a week to fax back the paperwork after being not disproved. She said mine was complete and "would be faxed next week" when I called on Tuesday. :(

Latest report on the other thread (MSP Backlog) is 3/10 and 11 per phone comm at 9 am this morning.

I hope this is correct? I have a 3/15 maybe 3/16, have to look at my receipt. Contemplating on making another purchase but I don't know if I'd be able to wait til September to get it. :mad54::sad20:

We're in sync. :-) I don't have much experience with or knowledge of lights... any suggestions as to what would be good for a 92A1?

    HANDGUN TAC LIGHT !!
I know this is off topic but a few guys on this thread were asking about a flashlight for mounting on a firearm. ....for what it's worth , check this out.

    http://www.amazon.com/Nebo-5569-ProTec-High-Powered-Firearm/dp/B004BNROME

I have one of these mounted on a Glock 19 . I've fired 500 rounds through it with the light mounted, and many times w/ turned on , and still works excellent. It's 190 lumens. It's actually CHEAP. $29-$39 depending on where you buy it. That low price almost turned me away. I have a $130 streamlight as well. Honestly, I prefer the NEBO PROTEC BETTER!!
It has a standard light mode, and a defensive mode where it flashes very quickly and blinds people.
Anyway, I picked one up in a walmart, and turned 2 friends on to them and they love it as well....keep in mind they also make these with a laser sight built in for only about $20 more. Now THAT I wouldn't bank my life on. But frankly the light has proven to be very reliable....they also make larger ones for mounting on shotguns and rifles.

Also. thanks to the guys who sent me PMs with the MSP Lic. Div. telephone number yesterday.
Can someone please send me the best email address to send to over there? I don't have a lot of time to be on hold or wait for a call back. I figure I could just send an email and then when they reply, I'll just be able to read the email. I'm almost 50 days. I want to make sure they actually received the fax from my FFL.
I'm guessing I'll need to include my info, and the ffl info, possibly a fax date?
    Thanks.

2/25 reviewy here. Called MSP today & was told my application was processed yesterday (5/8) & that it would be faxed over today. Sure enough four hours later FFL called! 74 days total. I picked up after work today. Im very glad this wait is over for me but one bummer, I noticed an ugly scratch in fact i believe the term might be "idiot scrach" or something along them lines. Now i know as i left the gun was scrathless and in mint. Witch now makes me think my fully paid for gun was displayed? Maybe handled some time in that 74 day wait. I explain that it would not bug me if it was going to be a holstered gun but its not. The young man said that all sold guns are under lock & key. He then said if i wanted a new one that we would had to do paperwork all over again also meaning that i would have to wait again......HAHAHA no thanks! I'll live with it. But still not cool who ever broke her down. Bottom line, im thankful and want to thank all of you for keeping tight communication. Keep pushing foward

On target releasing firearms after 7 days.

FYI. On Target started releasing firearms after 7 day wait. I just got back from the range and was visiting my M&P Shield i purchased on 3/29 and they said if I sign a release they will let me take. I just picked up my previous purchase from 2/21 on 5/3. So I figured I will be fine. I am a designated collector.

    2/21 picked up 5/3
    3/4 in review
    3/18 waiting
    3/29 picked up 5/9.

Sucks about the scratch! I watched my FFL snap my case shut and wrap it in cellophane with my reciept showing through. It should look like the day I bought if I ever get to take it home. Atlantic Guns - Silver Spring
