Does this apply or effect the documents from being filed? I realize it is tomorrow but didn't know if it might be done earlier.

Welcome to the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland

District of Maryland - Document Filing System

    CM/ECF will be unavailable on Thursday, May 24 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
During this time, the court will be installing a new version of CM/ECF (RC8 for 6.0) in our Test database.

Hmm...they are quite adamant that Maryland is far too incompetent to comply with the Constitution.

My first impression of what this amateur feels is a very weak document...

Introduction: Let's waste page 1 (oh yeah... long footnotes will help, too!!)

    I. We were taken out of context

II. They just don't understand the work involved, and can't read English

III. A. Blood in the streets
    B. Statistics lie
    C. Facts lie, too

IV. We really don't give a crap

    V. So??

    Conclusion: Pretty Please?!

    Fail.

They did the best they could probably do given the hand they're forced to play, but in the end, I don't see Judge Legg making permanent the Stay unless he buys off on the "Judicial" transition in MD as opposed to the neighboring states Shall Issue evolution being "Legislative".

They brought this up and it is an interesting twist. Not sufficient to win the case, but it might be "persuasive" for a Stay. They still failed on staking their prospects for success at CA4, a necessary component for the Stay being granted....

They already had a chance to at least form a task force (or SOMETHING) during the regular session, the Governor can call an extraordinary session for that purpose at any time, and there are 40 examples to draw on. They've just blown off the ruling because they don't think it's valid.

Besides that, we already have a permitting system, and the infrastructure should theoretically be able to track and revoke permits as necessary. That is, if the state has ever found it necessary to, you know, keep an eye on those Premium citizens who manage to get permits. If they're incompetent to do that now, after forty years of handgun permitting, they probably shouldn't criticize other states for not being on the ball.

    They must be planning legislation.

They had their chance, and Frosh lost; Thanks to all the hoopla MSI, MDS, and others created.

The Anti's will be more motivated after a loss they have snuck in so many years ago. They want to keep the 2A in the home, at all cost@

Yeah, that was their attempt to "show" their prospects on Appeal, saying Moore at District was right, while referring to Judge Legg and MD District as an "outlier"....

Wow, calling the judge out in what is likely the last piece(at least major) of the case presented before his ruling.... Thanks!

So they still haven't figured out how to keep their database in order and to print new non GS permits on pink paper versus white? That would make it way too easy to figure out which permits should be revoked if their appeal wins. Maybe I should apply for the job of permit issuing authority. I could even thrown in temporarry colors like blue for those with LEO ties and red for those with restrictions. I would be the hero of the State and could get one of them raises and bonuses they give out with our tax money.
