Its comin right for me!
Not sure where to post this question. I did a search and didnt find anything.
I was discussing an episode of "Storage Wars" with some guys at work who had also watched it and how a guy found a flamethrower in a storage unit and had it checked out to see if it worked (which it did) and he kept it. I am sure I saw 2 episodes? of "Sons of Guns" where flamethrowers were either built or repaired. I think I remember in one episode they mentioned the flamethrower being regulated maybe as an NFA weapon? I am really not sure, but I am almost positive he was told that once the flamethrower was built or repaired he could not take it home with him.
Can anyone just own a flamethrower? or are they regulated much like NFA weapons? Also, is there different classifications for different types? I am pretty sure firefighters use them for controlled burns. Would these be considered the same as a military type flamethrower such as the one in Sons of Guns?
