Hit 'Comit to Buy' then decided not to buy
It's OK not to buy a gun after examining it, however, the 'Comitt to Buy' button is just that--a comitment to buy. If the buyer wants more photos, an exam, etc, that's what he should arrange with the seller. The rules, as stated in the "Comitt to Buy in Classified Ads' per the moderator state such, as does the 'Classifieds Policy sticky. Driving all the way to Delta, PA to end up having the transaction fall through just made it worse......

What is so hard to understand about COMITT to Buy? It's a comittment that takes the product off the market and makes it unavailable to anyone else. This issue has been discussed over and over again in the forums. Hitting the button is making a comittment, period.

Made it an easy transaction
Sold the buyer a Mossberg 185D bolt action shotgun. Very easy transaction in no small part due to the buyer. No hesitation to do business with again
