For sale is a Pre-Ban Colt Match HBAR sporter in .223 / 5.56. It has the heavy barrel with 1-in-7 twist, fully adjustable A2 sights, round hand guards, bayonet lug, threaded barrel and closed bottom flash hider. The barrel is 20 inches long and is marked C MP 5.56 NATO 1/7 HBAR. The upper receiver is marked with the letters “CM” and identifies this rifle as a Martin Marietta edition. I am told that the Serial # (sp126***) indicates post-1978 manufacture, but I have not confirmed this. The following gear is included with the rifle: 5 twenty-round magazines (two brand new and still in sealed packaging 5 plastic magazine covers to protect the contents in the field One metal clip for mating two magazines for quick changes Extra flash hider Original plastic muzzle guard Bayonet with scabbard G.I. issue magazine pouch for one magazine up to 30 rounds Black sling 380 rounds of assorted ammunition (mostly good Remington Jacketed Hollow Point) Rifle is in excellent shape and has been a safe queen.
