Normally not a fan of the compact 1911s, but that one does look pretty sweet

Good for you! That might be the right size for CCW when we finally are "allowed" to exercise our 2A right.

It only took you 101 years to finally to buy one.

It's a 1911 in .45ACP, that's plenty fine for now.

You can become a 1911 snob later on after you've cut your teeth.

Agreed! In my eyes, you can not be taken seriously as an American man until you own some sort of 1911.

I was hunting for the elusive Ruger SR1911 for months and then got a good deal on a Springfield Armory Loaded Stainless, and just after that the Ruger SR1911 found it's way to my lair? Go figure?

Cheers,

CDR
