3/7- fingerprinted at Rockville barracks. The guy doing the prints was very nice. He asked me why I was getting printed and I told him for a handgun permit. I was wearing my fire Dept job shirt so we chewed the fat a little over "the job" since he was retired USPP and worked for BCCRS. I actually had to use my Utah ccw permit for ID because it was the only thing with my current address on it. He asked me "why Utah?" And I told him because its good in 35 States. He was genuinely unaware.
Then I hand carried my permit to pikesville. The lady at the window was NOT in a good mood. She didn't say anything wrong, she just had an attitude. |

If stay isn't granted by tomorrow afternoon I will go hit Livescan then. I like the idea of the one stop shop. Quite a hike for me but worth it if they know what they are doing and can get everything done in 15 mins. Will mail tomorrow afternoon if I get out of there in time or Sat. morning.
I'll edit this post with dates after tomorrow. __________________ Member of: Maryland Shall Issue, National Rifle Association, Second Amendment Foundation, and Vast Right-Wing Conspiracy |

Add me to the list.
Filled out app. 3/9 Did livescan, photos, notary in Glen Burnie 3/9 App in the mail via Priority with delivery confirmation 3/10 Expected Delivery (Delivery attempted at 6:23pm.) 3/12 Confirmed Delivery.(8:23am) 3/16 Letter from CJIS no criminal history in Maryland. I killed two birds with one stone at Maryland Livescan in Glen Burnie. I brought my fingerprint card for FL CCW app, and had him print me out the prints on that card, got another set of pictures and notary for extra total of $25. Let's see which gets approved first...I am sure no one is willing to take bets it will not be FL first. 4/28 Received FL permit in the mail. Last edited by LCPIWB; April 30th, 2012 at 08:06 AM. Better Hurry
Just got this from an inside source that is MSP. They are currently scrambling to figure out what they are going to do. They plan to file and injunction. If you plan to get your app in do it now! They said that they will have to honor those submitted before they file the injunction.

Just left the glen burnie office. I registered online and paid the $76 fee. It was painless and fast. I was out in less than 10 minutes. FIVE STARS!
Next to put my application in the mail. |

MSI now has a poll on their webpage, which is probably the best place for this now.
