The Judicial Committee where the bill will be first heard. These letters are a MUST. They will decide whether the bill will get to the floor. Frosh is the chairman and rabidy anti-gun.....

Those in red are the bad guys. Those in blue are the good guys.

The phone number for each should be 1-800-492-7122 followed by the extension listed.

Here is an invaluable resource that should help you with your research as you write your letters to your elected officials.

The Public Information Act requires your elected official to respond within 30 days to any requests for information of public record.

Here is one such example of such a request. I would strongly recommend that you individualize the request in such a way that you would receive individualized responses to your request so that you could best do the research that you are needing to write your letters to these sponsors of SB43.

Of course this would mean that, regardless of how many hundreds of requests the sponsors of SB43 received, they would have to answer them all individually within the next 30 days.

These two files are, first, the letter in WORD format and, second, an Excel document that you can mail merge from. The MS Help files is very useful in developing the merge documents for the letters and envelopes.

Remember that the more individualized your request, the more individualized your responses will be......so that you can do your research for letter writing and testimony.

Here is yet another tool for you to use in your research for letters and testimony. Maryland Shooter Forum member trbon8r is a recent refugee from California, only to find California style gun control following him.

This PDF is a synopsis of how SB-23 (California's AWB) came into being. The parallels with MD's proposal are fightening. Please take note of how people instantly became felons simply because they didn't know that they needed to register their previously legal firearms!

One other note: When you distribute these, please send a pm to Norton or myself so that we can keep track of where the literature has been distributed. We want to be as productive and efficient as possible. :)
