My first AR coming tomorrow

Tomorrow I pick up my new Colt AR-15 HBAR with 20" barrel and a Nikon scope. Pictures to follow.
I'm excited.

Speaking of mags, Gun Connection stocks brownells mags. I bought a few there, and haven't had any problems with them.

Ok, I've got an AR newbie question. Does an H-Bar fall into the long gun category. As in, Cash and Carry?

What are the pro's and con's verses the other types of AR-15 barrels?

Yes they are Cash and Carry

HBARs are just a bit heavier

Search "HBAR" for the answer to your question
