OK, Yellow sled's PM someone your address and we can send misc. items from around our houses smothered in Cosmo.
I think I have a half chewed up dog bone I can donate. Or maybe a rusty Gotcha Plug from my tackle box?

I took the Carcano to my dad's condo at lunch. I need to look at serial #'s and only ones I could find were on the Receiver and the barrel which both matched.
    Bore rifling looked strong.

Later Carcano's did not number the bolt so it is correct. Does it say anywhere "Italy" or "Made in Italy" anywhere?

As for Cosmo, maybe someone can just send me a small box filled with Cosmo so I can rub it on my hands and various items around my room. It would feel so much like Home then.

"Hand select, better than our last shipment SKS" from Classic.

I am waiting on a response from them on this matter, and have sent them these pictures.

    That's just pure BS!

I'm really disappointed in Classic. They had some serious customer satisfaction issues about 3 years ago, but they seemed to be really interested in getting their act together. I was openly very supportive of them, and had great experiences ordering from them for awhile.

Then they started slipping, and I was wondering if I was just getting ripped for extra money for "hand select" when others here got better looking rifles than I did without paying any extra.

I may have ordered my last from them. There's absolutely no excuse for that POS parts gun (at best!) being sent to you as a "hand select" from what was supposed to be a good shipment.

P.S. - If that one saw combat, it was used by the Albanian SEALs ... as an ocean-going raft paddle.
