M&P 15-22 Charging Handle Upgrades

Has anyone else upgraded the stock 15-22 charging handle with the NDZ Performance handles? They look pretty nice. Billet aluminum instead of the stock plastic handle.

Yup. I think the stock one is a bit flimsy but alright for a 22. I wanted something a little more sturdy.

None broken or cracked here yet. It's clearly the weak point on the rifle. I did notice minor binding due to flex. The binding is what got me to look for and buy the upgrade.

Shrug. It's not like you need a lot of force to rack a 15-22. The plastic is fine for me.

I can see it possibly breaking. Maybe if you forgot you were using your M&P 15/22 instead of a real AR...... Maybe in a heated 3 gun competition.

But Yeah. Its not like you are going to take it into combat. :rolleyes:

50 bucks is a LOT for a charging handle with a larger latch. That would be the one I would get.

I've used a bunch of their stuff on various builds and my old 15-22. Looked and worked great.

My new NDZ Performance charging handle. It definitely works well and adds a little more rigidity.
