I have a few more items to add this morning. What are interested in?

You are not going to let me turn my computer off today, are you?
    I'm looking for a 6" S&W model 14

It's to hot to go outside anyway. But I will tell you that I do not have a model 14 in the collection. I do have several S&W and Colt Liberty 45's though they will not be listed today.

If there is anything Israeli marked, I'd be interested.

I will have to check as I go. While I have been working at selling this collection for some time there are several guns that I have yet to look at closely.

P-38 the CYQ guns were made in Czechoslovakia. For the newbies, Walther and Mauser also made P38's and there was a small run of CYQ pistols with FN frames. This is not one of the later.
That serial number dates it as July 1944, per P38forum.com.

There is a book specifically on Spreework Production. It is out of print, but the author may still have copies for sale.

Just FYI, it's denoted as a Type I (as in 'eye').

Really? I have been reading it wrong for a long time. One great thing about selling this collection is the stuff I have learned dealing with each item.

    Thank you.

if it was one of the 1000 or so FN framed CYQ's we wouldn't be seeing it available, I would have grabbed it way back :)

The Spreewerk pistol book is out of print but still available in hard-back from the author, it's approx $100 (don't hold me to that).

This pistol appears to still have the correct 5-line Posselt grips which is a plus.

Is there a list somewhere that corresponds to the item numbers? Im assuming the old thread is not accurate any longer

There is but I will not be posting the entire list again. The numbers help me keep track of each item.

I spent a lot of time taking photos for people that "were interested" in something but then wanted to pay half the asking price without explanation or they were never heard from again. I wasted way to much time chasing false leads.

I am happy to take offers but I need to know that the asking price is out of line.

I will be taking photos of each gun as I get to it and posting it here and on other forums. This is a very large collection and I have been working on the sale for a long time.
