Well, we all knew this was a likely occurrence at some point in the process. Based on the comments from our legal eagles, the actions at this time surprise me. I thought our legal eagles mentioned that MSP would be ill-advised to take a hard line action until either CA4 entered a mandate or SCOTUS denied cert. Hopefully one of them will comment in one of these threads soon.

There was never any question about the fee. You are paying for the processong of the application, not for the receiving of a Permit. By pretending to "do everyone a favor" by talking them out of even applying to "save their money" was how they manipulated an artificial 97% aproval rate , and claimed there was No Problem , since nobody wanted a Permit , or was Disaproved. This was discussed up front from the start.

While not the Ultimate Victory we hopped for , this is still a double Victory for us.

We instantly caused their Aproval percentages to drop below 50% for the year. And they just handed the opertunity for their Second lawsuit.

It is still beyond me how a veteran can be denied this, for what you risked and sacrificed to protect our freedoms this is how they repay you. Total B.S. I believe all active duty and honorably discharged military should automatically qualify, just my opinion.

I am sure I will get my letter today as well. I know we applied within a day or so of each other. They just shot their high approval rating in the ass. Appeal?

Remember, based on the wording of the letter, I would call it "pre-denial", as they are giving people one last chance to offer G&S.

For me, I would be interested in MSI guidance on this, and whether sending them back something predetermined would be the answer.

Got the same letter. Was going to provide G&S before but didn't want to trigger a denial if it wasn't sufficient. Now I'll submit that.

Anyone who has even a hint of what could be concidersed G&S should submit additional documentation. At least make them go through the motions.
