Private places to shoot around Westminster?

Some ADULT friends and I are looking for some private land to SAFELY and RESPONSIBLY shoot in the Westminster/Eldersburg area...

Will travel. We won't be doing anything crazy, maybe just a few times a year. Willing to sign liability waivers, etc.

Anyone? Thoughts?

Hap Baker is in Westminster, that is your best bet. Good luck trying to find private land if you don't already know the landowner.

They're like dirt cheap aren't they? Is HXP allowed? During the week is there a crowd?

Yes, hxp?, and no. I haven't shot there in a couple years, AGC was closer to me so I just go there now.

During the week the place is empty, it does get crowded on the weekend. I can't answer on the hxp.

Good luck finding private property, where the owners of the property would let you do that. It took me being friends with some people, almost 15 years for them to invite me to shoot with them on their property.

Yeah and do yourself a favor and don't bring your low riding sports car or you may leave pieces of your car behind on those roads after the recent rain has dug gullies into the road.
