    18 mos ago. A deaf person was hired on in my workplace. I looked at him and saw how he's busting his ass to communicate with the hearing. I decided that I would do the same.

    There's a ton of youtube videos that will teach you the alphabet and there are websites that show the motion for words. Plus apps for your phone you can buy that will train you. I'm in no way a expert signer now but I can at least finger spell and know about 50 words used most in conversation. If your working with a deaf person show them you are trying to learn. They really enjoy those that try and will coach you.

    I believe there are classes at the Community colleges. This may be the best and easiest way to learn.
