I would think some of the "Yes I plan to" changed to "I have"...But there is no option in the voting to return and "change my vote".

That poll wasn't all that easy to vote with either!!

Not sure if everyone saw that MSI now has a form on their site they want MD Permit Applicants to fill out so they can track the status and present it to SAF. It came out in an email this AM.

    http://marylandshallissue.us4.list-manage.com/track/click?u=f9a3fb0d5de76b58560e66d8e&id=72b714e66f&e=c3c67e3482

This looks like an important form to complete. Once I know my status, I'll be filling one out. However, many of us have not received interviews yet.
I have no way of knowing how out-of-state (OOS) applicants will be handled. So far, I do not know of any OOS being interviewed, including myself.

    Time is short.

The data needs to be compiled and forwarded to the SAF, so that numbers can be included in the May 9th argument to kill the temporary stay.

We ought to have a deadline to submit the form, even if interviews have not taken place.

I took the form to mean, as of RIGHT NOW, and that's how I completed it.

I filled it out, and I haven't had an interveiw.

I'm sure most of you got the email, but just incase, here is what it said about the form:
    "1) Woollard Permit Log

As the Woollard case makes its way to the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, the Second Amendment Foundation may be interested in the number of applications, and the dispositions of those applications, made since the initial ruling.

MSI has published a form to allow submission and recording of this data. We are asking everyone who has applied for a permit to fill out this form. No personal data will be sent to the SAF without your consent, which can be provided at the completion of the form. We will not share personal data without your consent. Please provide accurate contact information in the event we need to follow up with you (should you authorize us to)."

    Two opinions, FWIW:
    1. People will drag their feet without a deadline.
    2. This request for information should be posted on some of the other CCW application threads, along with the form link, otherwise, only some will respond. A good sampling is needed.

If people "drag their feet" on helping out with this cause, they are effectively harming themselves and/or everyone who has already stepped up and applied.

    FILL OUT THE SURVEY! (NOW)

It takes 30 seconds to fill the form out, just do it. If you have time to read this, you have time to fill out the form.

This number is only those who know about MSI and mdshooters. There are plenty of people who've applied but aren't MSI or mdshooter members.
