I can't believe that, within about a year, there will be 3 indoor ranges (including Hendershots) close to me whereas before I would have had to go to Rockville. I know, Rockville isn't that far but I prefer to avoid Montgomery County.

I know how you feel, I drive down to Blue Ridge to do my shooting while the rockville range is maybe a 10min. drive

There was a feature article in the Frederick News Post about a week or two ago.

I believe they are going to open in "early spring".

I read somewhere they had a "soft" opening. And they finally posted a phone number (that doesn't work). Would really like to visit this weekend but don't want to make the long drive for nothing. Anyone know the status?

I would monitor their Facebook page and expect a late May or June opening.

Definitely not open yet.
