  • Real-world example of out-of-state purchases being brought to the attention of MSP.

Buy long gun from FFL dealer in another state. Perfectly legal.

FFL gets compliance inspection from ATF at some later date. Perhaps several years later.

Purchase of long gun by MD resident is noted by inpsecting ATF agent looking at purchase records. If the gun is "regulated/now banned" in MD, the ATF will notify MSP.

MSP sends SWAT team to kill you and your entire family, and burn your house down. For the children.

That's how an out of state purchase CAN come to the attention of MSP.

There were a couple of threads about AR10s bought at the Chantilly show (legally) and then the Maryland buyers were subsequently visited by Maryland's finest.

Buy in another state as far away from here as you can (if you actually purchase any of those scary, icky guns).

If he did, I wonder if they burned down the dog house? ;)
