    Hello Gents.

I am about to become a permanent resident of West Virginia.
What do I need to know about bringing my semi auto firearms
such as ar15's and others into the state.
    This would include pistols also.

    Thanks in advance.

LOL, You have been in Maryland too long!
As far as I know you don't have to do a thing in non-communist states.
I'm very jealous of you right now.

You have to go to the local courthouse, fill out the appropriate paperwork, pay an nominal fee, and wait.......

    For your CCW permit!

They're correct. No registration, notification, blah blah.

    Welcome to America, btw!

Load them into the trunk in Merryland, drive across the state line into WVA and unload them into your new residence. Then, get on your knees and kiss the ground cause you are back in the good ole USofA.

The only problem you may have is telling your new neighbors you're from Maryland and them asking why you stayed so long.

    Congrats!

LOL. Everyone beat me to it. Welcome to West By God Virginia.

When I moved back, the day I got my WV drivers license I stopped at a gun store and bought a $170 Hi Point pistol. Why? Because I could.
