    I was shopping for new Goose Decoys for the upcoming season and came across this Gander Mountain ad. This is what it states in short:

    FREE SHIPPING ON ORDERS OVER $50

    The decoys are $59.99 for a set of 6 SIX

    Note the "additional $ PER ITEM freight charge.

    Now, my math tells me that $5.00 x 6 ITEM's = $30.00

    It states free shipping, but, you are going to pay shipping anyway...

    You have got to read ads clearly and carefully.

    Its what I saw when I clicked the thread. Seemed a little odd that a post from 1969 was circling around on MDS, alas the on reason I could think of was possibly you were Al Gore (Ref: Al Gore claims he invented the Internet)

    This joke has gone horribly awry.

    I'm not a Religious person.
    I don't watch Football.

    People take politics too religiously for me.
    Religion is too political for me.
    People take football too religiously for me.
    Football is too political for me.

    This is why I missed the political joke.

    Just add it to your cart to see the total before you order. The six pack counts as one item and your total is $64.99...looks like they scam $5 out of ya.

    Well the way I see it, FREE SHIPPING is getting it here free. $5.00 alone is not FREE. It's like the universal scam of the "Handling Charge". Point is, Nothing Is Free.

    The right hand corner next to free shipping says. " see details> " click on that and read it
    In the beginning line of the 5 dollar shipping charge it has #1 and under details number 1 is most likely
    Oversize Box Charge.

    Its only a $5 fee because it is a large item to ship. The box of 6 decoys counts as one item. You sir are reading too much into it.
