Pretty good deal if you're in the market for one, even after transfer fee and shipping. Maybe the release of the 22 compact is driving the price of these down?

Has PSA changed their policy on shipping guns to MD? I know recently they wouldn't ship to MD...

The compacts aren't made overseas (AFAIK) and are cheaper for dealers to buy.

Even buying direct from S&W, that price PSA has is below cost for a distributor, let alone a dealer's cost.

That price isn't sustainable. I'd bet that its a major loss-leader, even before factoring in overhead.

I ordered a 15-22 from them and had it shipped to WV but they still pulled the mag from it because I had a MD billing address. They weren't going to ship the rifle at all until I read to them what the terms on their own website said. Who knows if they actually would have shipped it to MD.
