I guess this will be the first test of those of us who have changed our affiliation to Democrat (d@mn... I just puked in my mouth again). As a DINO, Gansler's got my vote unless of course somebody/something "better" comes along...flaming bag of dog waste, mental patient, etc. A vote for Brown would consolidate much of the Black vote and the White-guilt crowd - can you say Obama supporters?

First, I think she may be out there. There is only so much more ground to be gained in the gay rights 'fight', and none of her experience appears to be in actually DOING anything.

We know they are all progressive meatheads, but so far Heather Whozit is the weakest of the bunch. She will split the guilt-vote, but if Doogie picks a black for LG, then the black vote becomes a mess (especially since Brown can be seen as 'not black enough')

Second, they're not about to mess with a proven formula. Corey Booker, anyone?

    Heads they win ...
    Tails you lose ...

FreeStateDINO's need to either identify a dark horse candidate or figure out how to narrowly split the vote between the two, maybe even forcing a run-off.

I wonder what Sobahni is doing these days ... :innocent0

History says it will not be Brown. the Lt. Gov has never been elected Governor.

BUT, lets not forget white guilt that gave us the most unqualified and anti-American President in US history. A city that elected Dixon and Rawlings-Blake will vote for anything. Anyone wonder what Rawlings Blake would be doing if her father had NOT been Howard Pete Rawlings? Maybe picking up the folded dollar bills when the last song is over?

It really comes down to who the Sun tells the idiots to vote for.

I don't understand what you're saying. why would white guilt have driven people to vote for W?

I'm voting for the white guy. If it comes down to Lollar vs a black Dem then the black dem will win. I think Lollar will have a better chance against a white dem.

I'm still not fully recovered from seeing democrat on my voter id card, and then you post this?? Brutal...

    :puke2:

It is a very interesting question though. My initial feeling is that Gansler is the lesser of the two douches, but I'm really going to have to think hard about this one.

I feel the same way about my new voter card. I keep having nightmares about dems chasing me down the street and I'm out of ammo!!!

I felt so dirty when I got my new voter card, no matter how many showers I take, I still feel dirty...

As Brown is the heir apparent, I say pile on the votes for Gansler. At the very least, Brown will have to spend more money in order to win, thereby reducing his war chest in a possible showdown with Lollar. Fantasy race: Lollar vs. Gansler..... If Lollar plays the race card correctly, he could take Baltimore and PG county. Slim chance but it's our only hope for this Godforsaken ******** of a state.

I know, I'm in the same boat. As a newly registered Democrat, I feel compelled to vote in the primaries in 2014...

If you weren't going to vote in the primaries as a D, then what's the point in changing affiliation? That's the whole point!

Any Republican will have a far better chance against pansy Gansy than Brown.

This is the type of thinking that all DINO's need to have, and to have a co-ordinated effort in doing so. Either a 3rd person comes into play that all come behind or voting for whoever a R will have the best chance against.

    This! ^^^

Whatever we do, we ideally stifle the gag reflex and do it unanimously! AND we make it known that we did it, and let them wonder who's next for a dose of the same.

I'm definitely not voting for Brown or anyone else affiliated with the D party...out with the old, that includes you Barbara, in with those who see things our way. If they're not on the checklist I'll write in a name.

This election as most in MD will be decided in the primary. Ehrlich was a fluke and not likely to happen again for some time. IMHO

    Good luck
