If I want to AOW a gun, what form do I need? I was told Form 4 (I believe) and it said on there it is $5 for a transfer/purchase of an AOW from a dealer and $200 to convert a weapon you currently own. Did I read that right or am I missing something, thanks.

You are correct, but the $200 isnt what a SOT will charge. Youll only pay $200 if YOU do all the peperwork. The $200 is just the Tax Stamp fee, there also has to be engraving of the manufacturer (Your info if you make it). If an SOT does the paperwork there will be a fee for the time to do the peperwork and any necessary gunsmithing/engraving.

If you make the AOW yourself you'd submit a Form 1 and $200 for the stamp.
As Clandestine said, if you transfer one from a dealer, it's a Form 4 and $5 for the stamp.
