Non-Refurb M44? She was rode hard and put away wet...

This is one of the recent ones from AIM labeled as-is. Looking over it last night when I completely took it down every small part is Izhevsk marked and every serial number matches. Bore is not counter-bored, and looks good. No refurb mark present but it looks like it may blued at some point in its life. Not really sure. Scattered old surface rust/pitting. Old field stock repairs present in 3-4 spots. Serial numbers all appear original and not scrubbed and force matched.

Action is nice a smooth and here she is all cleaned up and oiled down.

Thoughts guys?

All the serials have a completely matching font. I would be really surprised if they weren't all original

$99 is an excellent deal. I'd take that rifle over the prettiest refurb any day.

I don't know ... Buying something just because it's cheap is not always the answer. I bought a Steyr 95 from SOG because it was $143 shipped and it kicks like a mule. We'll see if that was a good use of funds.

That's not what I mean. He got, as far as anyone can tell, an original rifle. The $99 price tag just makes it that much better.
