I had a C&R five years ago and let it lapse mainly because of $'s being spent on fantastic guns. I now want to get another C&R license and I'm not too sure of the requirements for the fingerprinting. Previously I went to the Cecil County Correctional Center where they did the old fashioned Ink Printing, for free, which they no longer do. Do I need to get the "live scan" from one of the few places that perform this service ? Or will another "ink print" suffice ?

I've searched and read the C&R section with no definable answer.

There was a time, many moons ago, that one needed to stop by a MSP barracks and have 2 hard copies of your prints for your C&R license. But like I said, it was many moons ago. Don't ask me how I know!
