I was wondering if there were any rules or laws governing the resale of reloading equipment? After moving here I have become increasingly aware of the restrictive nature of Maryland toward gun owners and figure I would ask before blindly forging ahead. I see plenty of ammo and components for sale but no presses.
    Many thanks.

Only regulations are amount of powder allowed and multi family living (condo, apt and townhomes).

    Nothing about presses etc.

If you're talking about for sale on this board or craigslist, it's probably because guys buy it and keep it. No restrictions though.

An RCBS Rockchucker purchased today at the best price you can find will be worth almost the same in a decade assuming it isn't damaged. I found Bass Pro pricing to be high for said press but it evens out if you have to pay for shipping.

I am not looking to buy. I have a Dillon 650 i don't foresee using in the near future. I have loaded more 9mm than I can remember, 44mag, .223, and 3030.

Heh, a Dillon 650? If you decide to sell and put it in classifieds for a decent price I'll bet it goes in less than a day, likely less than 3 hours. If I had any spare cash you'd have a PM already. :innocent0

Once you have 50 posts here you can advertise it in the classifieds.

Yes I remember reading that and the other rules as well. If I get to 50 I will certainly post in the classifieds. If craigslist didn't have a prohibition I would consider that too.

There is no restriction on selling reloading equipment.

Selling powder however requires a dealer license with all the accompanying drama, background investigation, fingerprints.

Selling reloaded ammo requires both a federal and stat license.
