Actualy the trigger is thicker on the non-SRT, if you look at the bottom half or tip of the trigger on the 2 pics, his is much thicker.

    EDIT: Here's an example -

Do you know if they're hard to install?

SRT has nothing to do with the thickness of the lever. The thinner lever is actually just the "reduced reach trigger". You can have an SRT with either the standard lever or the RRT.

This is correct. Having the thicker or thinner trigger has nothing to do with whether or not the gun has the SRT. You cannot tell just by looking at the trigger.

But, if the P226 in question is an actual E2 model and not just a regular P226 with the E2 kit on it, it comes standard with the SRT. You could also take a look at Sigs webpage for the now discontinued P226 E2. Its says right in the description that it comes with the SRT standard.

I suggest contacting Sig CS to get the answer. You can also look at the label on the case. Generally it says "SRT" on it.
    Like so:

I am trying to find a cantilered slug barrel for my 870, but can't find one for under $270.00 (Bass Pro Shop)

Does any one no where to find one cheaper?

    Thanks :party29:

Or just pull the trigger. Srt resets at quarter inch or less when you release it.

per the manual.. pull the trigger and make sure the hammer is down before sliding the slide totally off.. but it also says if its hard to slide off.. but i havent had an issue with it while the hammer is pulled back. :D

just the grip? maybe.. couldnt find it on the sig website.. enhanced models they are still selling.

Damn thats crazy! The e2's also had higher cap mags, atleast for the 229. The site said 15rds. Wonder if they work both ways

Also noticed if you look on sigs site, the standard 229 is pictured as an e2

Just picked this up from KeepShooting this evening (thanks again, Mario!). Purchased from Palmetto State Armory and delivered to KeepShooting, who did the transfer and shell casing in record time for me. They got it last Thursday, I did the paperwork Friday evening and Mario called late yesterday to say I was Not Disapproved so I could pick it up after work today.

Last Friday, while doing the paperwork:

Compared to the P250 it's replacing:

    Good upgrade.

I held a 250 and couldnt believe someone thought it was a good design. Not balanced at all and had an awful trigger.

I totally agree. Sam's cousin's husband, however, really really likes it and shot really well with it on Wed, so he's going to buy it from me.

The 2022 feels really good in my hand. I can't wait to shoot it...trigger feels good when the hammer's cocked.
