I'm supporting the new movement. The Right To Arm Bears. (RTAB). It'll make bear hunting just that much more interesting.

Yes, back on Sept 9, 2013 the request for Appeal was sent to the 4th CCA, and docketed on Sept 11, 2013.

No clue on a ruling, as no date for oral arguments have been set yet. Currently we have submitted our opening brief back on Nov 4, 2013. The state gets to submit a response brief by Dec 8, 2013.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the answers to my questions. I will go through the recommended threads very soon.

Believe the years associated with those dates should be 2014. Hard to believe we have already been under SB281-2013 (a/k/a FSA2013) for over a year now.

The comments are hard to read. Some people are truly clueless.

How about this comment ? lol

The soon to be EX socialist, taxing, lying, cheating on his wife, did I mention taxing, anti-gun governor with the chit eating grin Comrade Marty Owemalley is and was way more dangerous to the citizens of Maryland (specially the middle class) than any gun has been or ever will be. I want to personally thank the 21 states that have jumped on board to help the citizens of The DemocRATic People's Republic of Godforsaken Maryland out to get this ridicules unconstitutional gun ban overturned. Thank you. Hey Marty how's that lousy 1% in the presidential poll working out for you you traitor?

But RKBA has been a widely used shorthand for 2nd Amendment and Gun Rights generally for many decades predating electronic communication by the masses. At leat to the '60s , and very common by early '70s .

I find the visuals of bears toting firearms interesting and humorous, mainly because I like both guns and bears, as no doubt the others liking this. BUT the whole phrase as created back in the '70s by anti's to attack both RKBA and Hunting. I look foreward to the Gun and Hunting communities taking full ownership and repurposing it , but it's still a little too ambigious for me.
