    I would imagine fishing for them will require a permit, but will just shooting them be acceptable or will we need a hunting permit?

    I haven't seen any around here, but my brother said they're all over Florida. He said the are awesome to catch, they smash any fast moving lure and fight like hell.

    I caught a 14 pound Snakehead last year on the PO just outside of Mattawomen creek. Big mean sumbitch.

    The chef at Alewife in Baltimore Apparently prepares a mean snakehead. My neighbor went snakehead hunting last week and cooked some up. Didn't try it yet but I hear it's delicious.
