I don't know if this has been posted, so here ya go.

ATF processed 1.3M NFA forms last year. That does not include the 5320.20
MD has 94,619 NFA registered firearms as of Feb 2015

Some very interesting data in this report.
    Have fun.

Almost twice as many destructive devices in MD as machine guns??? I wouldn't have guessed that.

That's typical of the country in general. IIRC law enforcement flash bangs are NFA controlled items and account for a large percentage of all NFA items.

1.3 Mil forms... wonder how many of those required a $200 stamp? The NFA is turning out to be quite the cash cow for USG.

I am always surprised by how many more suppressors than SBRs are floating around. I probably shouldn't be, but there you go.

Also interesting how the C&R licensee numbers are leveling off. And how we apparently have 3400 FFLs in this state.

The report lists revenue numbers, you can probably do the math if you get a good estimate of the percentage of form 4 AOW transfers.

It breaks all the numbers down by forms. So out of the 1.3M, 400K+ of them are form 3 and form 5 which a re tax exempt.

Transfer and making tax were $22,678,000
    SOT taxes were $4,837,000

    Lots of good info.
