Did a search and didn't find anything, so here it goes....

I ran across a few You Tube videos and web sites touting the new Magpul Remington 700 stock

It looks like they will be priced around $250 and shipping this spring. I'm guessing its no McMillian, but it seems like a good option for the average Joe like me.

Now if it would only come out in a long action :rant2:

Interesting. I'd be even more interested in a Savage short-action variant, but that's me.

For the 700, the XLR Carbon - oh my, Brad likey.

Well, there went my idea of a Choate stock and DBM.

That depends on how well a 700 takes to the Magpul's bedding block.

But this could be something to keep an eye on, let a few people/gunrags test and eval, see if it's any good.

There is plenty of time for people to do the T&E thing before I think about upgrading the 700. I still have to build an AR10.

    Jesus, the projects never end...

    Nice pair! lol

Do these have the "new and improved" X Mark triggers or do they fall under the recall? Might as well just put a Timney or Jewell in there...

Oooooooooooooooooo.....Shiny new Magpul stuff for rifles I own!!!!!! The price point can't be beat IMO, most other mag systems sell for 200+ on their own, now you can get stock and mag system for under $400.
