Hey guys, I have a Savage 110 currently in 7mm Remington Magnum that I'm trying to part ways with eventually, but if that does not happen I'd like to rebarrel it to a different caliber that I could shoot more economically. So besides the new barrel, what other tools would I need to complete this project? And what calibers are available to be rebarreled in without changing the action? Thanks.

Its dooable, but probably best to just sell it and get the gun you want. You would need a few tools, headspace gauges and of course a barrel and possibly the mag box.

It's a 300 dollar gun, trade it to something else you would like. Unless you wanted a project that would cost more than it's worth....find someone with an 06 or 308 wanting to swap.

I am pretty sure Brownells and Midway carry rebarreling kits. They come with the barrel, wrench and go/no go gauge. Any caliber with the same size rim should work with your bolt.
