I wanted to share my most recent AR15 rebuild, hope you enjoy. My first AR was purchased about four years after the Clinton AWB around at Shelin Guns. The rifle, a Bushmaster XM15-e2s was as neutered as they came, 16” HBAR 1/9” twist, no threads for flash hider (no muzzle device), fixed A2 style stock, A2 carry handle upper, and m4 style standard handguards. This thing was ugly to sum it up in one word, but it was my first rifle and I couldn't afford the $1500 dollar brand new in box Action Arms IMI Galil that I really set my mind on that sat next to my $800 AR (if I only knew what I know now).. Well since the sunset of the ban this gun has had the barrel threaded, swapped the fixed carry handle upper, chopped the A2 fixed sight post, lost the fixed stock to several M4 style adjustable stocks, but that wasn't enough. This rifle and lower has seen too many configurations to list over the last 15 or so years. The most recent and final iteration of the rifle is here and I am more than pleased with it!
