It wasn't til about a week ago I had even considered building an AR15 pistol. So I know nothing about pistol buffer assemblies.

    1. what do you recommend
    2. what should I stay away from like it was Ebola
    3. is there a particular type of buffer tube I should get....(ie length, style etc)
    4. who has them available?
    5. Will they work with the SIG brace?

    you're help is appreciated.

    thanks!

I used a phase 5 hex-2 tube. It came with the buffer and spring. It is a shorter tube with no brace but it works great for me. It is designed to work with the sig brace.

I ordered one off of eBay for $40 that works with the sig sb15 brace. I'll let you know how the quality is when it comes in.

I have the phase 5 tube and am very happy with it. I don't know if it will work with the Sig brace but give 2a a call. They had some when I was looking

I used the pistol buffer kit from Spikes.......it was a complete kit, T2 Buffer, buffer tube, backing plate and nut. Great fit and finish

I got it from JoBobOutfitters for a damn good price.

I just listed a slightly used (40 rounds) PSA Buffer Assembly in the classifieds for $35.00 shipped if you are interested. It worked great on my 7.5" Pistol.

2A Sales has it for $79.99 plus tax if I remember correctly.
That's what I paid from Phase5(list price) 12 bucks shipping:tdown: 2a is about an hour and 15min hike each way for me so it all evens out. Certainly would of supported them If I was closer

FYI, we expect to start receiving the Phase 5 Hex-2 Buffer Tube Assemblies, Basic Pistol Buffer Tube Assemblies, and Extended Bolt Releases within a few weeks. They're really nice for the money!
