Has anyone had a 22 rimfire SBR, under 29" approved recently (last 6 months)? I want to SBR my M&P 15-22, which shouldn't be an issue since SB281 OAL does not apply to rimfire, but I know the ATF can be a pain in the ass.
I want to chop it to 4.5" to keep bulk ammo subsonic for use with a suppressor. Anyone done it/had approved recently? I am definitely not trying to donate my $200 dollars to the ATF for the next 6 months or more because of a denial.
