I know there are a lot of people holding off on applying but I would think/hope that the numbers are a lot higher then that.
These could be batch numbers instead of individual apps. They could be deposing numerous checks at a time and assigning batch numbers to them.

Yea it could be deposit slip numbers BUT I would think that we would at least have 2 people with the same number.
Wouldn't explain mine and the other fella though.
I'm not thinking it's a "batch" either, too many numbers already.

Here they are showing checks with 71xxx and 69xxx. That makes me feel better about how many apps there are.

I you are implying it's over 10k, I almost guarantee you'd be incorrect.
Mine was sent long after the Friday after the opinion was released, like over a week later.

Even if it is sequential , remember that there are lots of other permits handled by the same application than just Handgun Permits .

I bet the numbers on the checks do not mean a thing other then some type of tracking or accounting system the MSP use.

I wonder if you called Reisterstown and just asked approximately how many apps a day do they receive if they would wager a guess or would they be prohibited from commenting ?
