My back wont take another transmission swap.
    Local shop wants $900

I was ready to start it myself. Put her up on jack stands and started unbolting. Then my back reminded me I was 55 years old. I never used to listen to my back until it incapacitated me and punished me for several months. Now I listen to my back.

Thanks for the info I will check it out

    Clutch

I am sure the throwout bearing self destructed. I pulled the slave cylinder and the pivot arm that holds the bearing was not their. The ball shaft that goes in the slave cylinder was also missing. I assume all of this is in the bell housing somewhere. When it went out the clutch pedal was pulsating. My guess is the fingers on the pressure plate are also toast.

here is what I think I need.
    Clutch
    pressure plate
    Throwout bearing
    Pivot arm
    Pilot bearing
