Not that it should surprised anyone, but a new candidate for district 46 told me via twitter that he is against any type of SYG legislation being implemented, because the "cons far outweight the benefits".

The Conaways are the biggest POS out there. I am so glad to be outta the cesspool of Baltimore City (and MD) it makes my teeth hurt. I remember seeing that van around town with The slogan "Mama Bear Papa Bear and Baby Bear..." Just goes to show how terminally stupid the populace of Baltimore City is.

Been thinking on this, and I'm now convinced that this (and the statewide) bill may be set up for a secondary set of arguments, that will take on self-defense advocates on a separate, social level.

I'm not going to mention it here, but the attentive among us can probably guess.

Defend yourself the best way you can, clean up incriminating evidence, leave carcass off of your property and shut up.
