They got some cool stuff to look at but everything is super expensive and Ive seen a few guns that like twice the price that you can find em at The Gun Shop or other places nearby.

There is one older guy there that used to get on my nerves and wears goofy tactical vests and always mentions that he can do stuff and you cant because he is law enforcement, and I honestly dont know if he is or not. This guy tried to explain to me that you couldnt even carry a magazine with ammunition in it because it displays intent to carry a loaded weapon(unless your law enforcement like him). There was an Uzi behind the counter and he explained to some guy that he couldnt own one with a short barrel but he himself could have one because he was law enforcement.[/QUOTE]

He told me he was a contracted U.S. MArshall working in a unit in the city. Blah blah blah bragged about it the entire time and then proceeded to try and sell me a Glock 23 for 675 dollars. I laughed and walked out. Guy was a squirrel if ive ever seen one.

Its so funny that you knew exactly who I was talking about, I think that guy has a screw loose for sure. I have seen him at a gun show but I cant place which one it was, somehow I doubt he is a LEO but who knows he very well could be.

    Definitely not where you are!
I've also been to "Just Guns" and Dawg the Bounty Hunter behind the counter was a complete ass. I noticed a C&R (old) 1911 behind the glass, at which point I said "Sweet, I just got one mailed to my house", I shouldn't of said that... he went on to give me a lecture on how I was breaking the law, and that C&R pistols are not legal to transfer within MD. I explained to him that I ordered it from Ohio and thus the transfer was an out of state import and does not fall under those restrictions. After all that he became really upset and I left shortly after... obviously. I thought the wacko was going to call the cops on me. It just goes to show you that even gun store owners are sometimes only privy to the laws they care about. That's what makes this an excellent website and the best source for info concerning restrictions\laws within MD. The Gun Shop is a nice place, with good people. Just Stay Away from Just Guns.

Of course he was upset, if the people can get these guns at wholesale then he can't charge 2-3x the prices. Looking at their prices on the C&R rifle racks, he must think all of his grade Excellent...:lol2:

Secret Squirrel guy working there, but he is harmless. Just turn your BS filter on. Not the first place I would shop, but no problems with it really.

Shannon is Rob's wife, correct? As I have posted before, nice people. The issue for me with that shop is that my schedule and their schedule do not usually work out.

I have bought from Just Guns before, but not recently. Gun Connection is easier for me.

Both of these shops could benefit if they joined this site and became IP's.

Shannon is Rob's daughter. I did mention to her about MDS.

I would say he is harmless but when you spread out ******** information and some guy believes it and repeats it it just multiplies the ignorance and thats how so many people today think that pretty much all NFA items are completely illegal, high cap mags are illegal to own in MD,you have to keep handguns locked in seperate compartments during transport in MD, and alot of other things I dont even need to list.

Obviously this is no good for us because it further demonizes anything related to firearms because sheeples believe there are laws in place that are not and this creates the perception that most of us are breaking the law. Plus that guy is just annoying and he is the reason I stopped going in there.

I second that... plus I hate any place that makes you feel like it's a privilege just to be in their store, and that somehow you meet THEIR standards to buy stuff from them. Yes, it's a gun shop with serious merchandise, but in the end customer service is still key, like any other business.

I haven't bought anything there yet but I did find the guy friendly enough and helpful if not a little weird. He does get a high percentage of inner city folks with criminal records and spends a lot of time educating.....its hard to tell who is law-abiding on the surface. I bought an sks from Christian Soldier and he's a really nice guy. I do most of my business at Gun Connection in white marsh. They are always helful and they seem very honest plus they welcome me by name when I walk in. A big plus! I don't feel like just a paycheck.

Went in there recently looking for a particular 1911 and they laughed at me and said "good luck with that". Went to Gun Connection in White Marsh... they made 2 phone calls and have one on the way.

I would jump on 40 and head up there if I were you.

The only person that I have ever received any good service from is the young guy that is only there part time I think (owner's son?). Otherwise you have to chase someone down to ask the simplest of questions. And Lord forbid you walk in there on a thursday or friday before a gun show; everything is being packed up and they have no interest in helping you out at all.

As far as my dealings with Rob @ Christian Soldier. Yes, he is an EMT with the Baltimore County Fire Department. They work two 10 hour days, then two 14 hour nights and then four days off. It's an eight day rotation; hence the weird hours. He is a nice enough guy alright but VERY disorganized and completely forgetful. I ordered a DPMS AR thru him and had to call him three times a week to remind him of every detail. After 6 months, he told me that they told him 2 months earlier that they had a barrel shortage and would not be able to produce the weapon til the following year...I canceled the order and wound up with an HBAR on the shelf. I purchased a handgun thru him and it took him almost an hour to find my paperwork. There was also a story of him being served papers by a young lady and refusing to release the maglock to let her leave the store and he and another guy harassed her until someone else came to the door and she was able to escape. I am suprised he has not failed an ATF inspection for his poor paperwork. Maybe that is why his daughter works there now.

I stick with Gun Connection and stop by the Gun Shop on occasion to see if there is anything that shouts out to me to buy it. These two shops are always friendly.

Actually, I am still shopping for my first hand gun and happened to visit that store. The male associate I spoke to seems very nice, and knowledgeable. But, the prices are more expensive compare to other stores I have visited.

sounds to me like I need to stop into Just Guns to see the azzhole and get him started. :lol2: sounds like a fun day out.
I've never been to the Christian Soldier but I would like to check them out.
The Gun Shop and Gun Connection are both great shops.
