Called the wife to let her know I was on my way home, and get informed that the street is teeming with County cars, ambulances, and fire units.

    Long story short...

    So much to sort out...

Drug OD, dead woman, upset people, threats of violence...

Buckling in, waiting to see how it all shakes out!!

    If I'm hearing it correctly...

This house (3 doors up) has always had a lot of 20-something traffic that I've never been too thrilled with. Now we find out that it is likely drug-related (which confirms/explains a lot of things I've noticed).

It seems that one of the regulars (not sure if it's a 'resident' or not) may have caused another to OD and was dead when uniforms got there.

Someone was carted off in an ambulance running hot to the hospital. Could be an additional casualty, could be crossed wires.

A female on scene had apparently declared she was going to come back later and cause some sort of damage to someone.

Should make for an interesting weekend...

Except for the "county cars" and fire units, sounds like any typical day when I lived in east Baltimore.

    Edgemere , md.
I'm from Dundalk and now I live in Pasadena. I guess I'm part of the problem. :)

Don't get me started on Edgemere/Dundalk denial. :)

I have lived in Edgemere all my life . There is no difference until you have to talk to some of our uppity neighbors from the swamp (Millers Island ) they think they are special  . They are special just not in the way they like to think they are :innocent0

Same here in BQ - regular DV calls, drug dealing on the corner down the street (its a drive up market place - little foot traffic), the occasional robberies on the street at knife or gun point (bet they have their HQL's and C&W permits), the whacked out long term resident wandering the street high and paranoid, home invasions are pretty regular, and I really enjoy the helicopters with search lights at all hours of the nights trying to catch the auto-thieves. Generally the neighborhood is good, but the few bad apples ruin it for everyone . . .

You didn't learn from the other thread. You should have just simply closed the door to that abandoned house. Now look what you've done :)
