I'm positive the ACLU is going to step up to the plate for this important civil liberty and privacy issue.

Oh dear, where's my sarcasm tag.

"Mental Disorder" means absolutely anything defined in the DSM-IV that psychologists use, which means just about anything. Even Attention Deficit Disorder fits. I don't think "history of violent behavior" is so easily defined. But we all know how strictly this administration will interpret it. I'm sure an obscene gesture in traffic is enough to tip the scales in their eyes.

Isn't it funny this comes out just two weeks after O'Sleezy fired a good man who was running the state police and replaced him with his puppet Sheridan?

Ya, they could say we are crazy because we like to buy duns.

"Maybe eventually we will have to fill out so many forms we'll give up and not bother."

Maybe so but...it doesn't seem to have stopped folks from buying houses.

I think they issue deals with HIPPA laws in the medical field. A medical agency or facility must have written authorization from that person to release any medical record period to anyone. They probably could check to see if you had been in a mental health facility before, but now with HIPPA they can not with out you signing to say they can.
