Texas DPS uses Identigo for fingerprinting. Maryland has several Identigo centers around Bmore. Does anyone know if having the stuff done here will work for Texas DPS?

I have searched and can't find this specific issue.

    Thanks,

    John

Most electronically scanned fingerprints go directly to the home state CJIS system for processing. I don't know of any state vendor who can scan prints and send them to another state's CJIS.

That's why for example if you want to get a FL CCW, and you want electronic prints it has to be done in FL.

Not saying it's a fact but that seems like my observation. I did read the specs on applying for state print certification as a vendor and a requirement was being able to make a secure connection to the state CJIS.
